MEGA Foundation is a Stockholm-based gallery space, founded in 2015 by independent curator Maria Elena Guerra Aredal, exhibiting new contemporary work. The physical space in which it was originally situated had two simultaneous functions: a production facility for a fire-fighting system and an art space, thus giving the space its unique and experimental characteristics.
Between 2018-2020, MEGA joined forces with yek (independent curator Asrin Haidari) to open a new contemporary art space, Tegel. The venue was shared between the two and they produced both joint and individual exhibitions and projects.
Today the gallery is working from the intimate sphere of the private apartment.

MEGA Foundation är ett galleri för samtidskonst baserat i Stockholm som grundades 2015 av den fristående curatorn Maria Elena Guerra Aredal. Galleriets första fysiska plats hade två funktioner samtidigt, det var både en produktionsanläggning för ett brandsläckningssystem och ett konstgalleri, vilket gav rummet sina unika och experimentella egenskaper.
Mellan 2018–2020 slog MEGA ihop sig med den fristående curatorn Asrin Haidari och öppnade ett nytt samtida gallerirum, Tegel. Lokalen delades mellan de två och de producerade både gemensamma och individuella utställningar och projekt.
Idag drivs galleriet i en bostadslägenhets intima miljö.
